Description
The next generation of Kombi engines now feature the updated 4-MIX engine. Simple to use, the KM 131 offers maximum versatility, powering several ground based attachments for property and garden maintenance. Compact and easy to transport, this tool is perfect for professional contractors and maintenance teams. The updated 4-MIX® engine features simplified starting, improved handling and larger fuel tank for improved run time.
Manual fuel pump
The manual fuel pump makes starting the tool easier. Pressing the pump ensures fewer strokes are required to start the tool as sufficient fuel is present within the carburettor.
Multi-function handle with stop button
All the engine controls can be controlled with just one hand featuring a stop switch which automatically reverts back to the start position for a quicker, simple restart.
Bike handle
When used in conjunction with a harness, the bike handle enables a smooth mowing action. The bike handle allows the machine to be easily guided, making it ideal for working on large areas, thus reducing fatigue.
STIHL 4-MIX® engine
You can always rely on STIHL to keep setting new benchmarks this time with 4-stroke mixed lubrication technology. The STIHL 4-MIX® engine, which runs on a fuel-oil mix just like a 2-stroke, offers the benefits without the compromises of 4-stroke power. STIHL 4-MIX engine technology provides fast acceleration, more power, added torque, lower noise, reduced emissions and increased fuel efficiency to complete jobs quickly, quietly and more easily.
Air filter with long service life
The easily accessible paper filter with a long service life means it can go for long intervals without changing. (similar to illustration)
Stop switch
The multi-function control handle features a stop switch which automatically reverts back to the start position for a quicker, simple restart.
Decompression system
The decompression valve allows some of the compression pressure in the cylinder to escape, so less force on the starter rope is needed.
Quick-release coupling
The quick-release coupling allows the KombiSystem to be quickly dismantled into two parts for easy transport and storage – and then re-assembled quickly without tools.
Shoulder strap / carrying system
Using a STIHL shoulder strap or carrying harness with soft padding makes work more comfortable, particularly during lengthy jobs

Occasions arise whereby warranty periods may be extended / shortened, due to promotional campaigns. Correspondence detailing these changes will be released before the promotion’s active date.
STIHL connected professional warranty extension
Extension of professional warranty by 1 year when purchased with selected professional petrol tools and AP System battery tools with a STIHL Smart Connector or Smart Connector 2 A. MotoMix® fuel domestic warranty extension
Extension of Domestic warranty from 2 to 3 years when purchased with 5 litres of MotoMix®. Domestic customers can now extend warranty cover of selected machines, when purchased along with 5 litres of MotoMix®. The extension must be registered at point of sale by the STIHL Approved Dealer. Security updates
The iMOW® will receive security updates for at least 24 months after purchase.
ADVANCE ProCOM will receive security updates for at least 36 months after purchase.
