Description
The Singing Rock Hector a large, versatile, pear-shaped HMS carabiner with a triple lock gate. Hector’s large gate opening and rope bearing area allow easy accommodation of a large anchor point or more slings, the large rope bearing area ensures better rope glide and reduced wear on the carabiner. The pear-shaped basket of the Hector facilitates belaying with the Münter hitch or other belay devices. Easy handling is on the forefront of the design, with the ergonomic shape providing perfect handling. Also, the triple locking sleeve is fit with rough notches to allow easy manipulation, even when wearing gloves. Due to its high strength and large features, the Hector is mainly used as a central carabiner during anchoring, this carabiner will keep your gear organised and minimise the chance of cross loading.
With the innovative ‘keylock’ locking system which solves the problems associated with the traditional carabiner design. Eliminating the risk of ropes or tapes becoming entangled in the lever or carabiner shell when it is being connected or released. It also ensures that ropes and slings do not come in contact with sharp edges thanks to the cylindrical lever and shell which has no sharp edges. Each carabiner is individually marked with a unique production number for easy traceability and testing.
