Description
If you often take a pole saw with you in the car or cherry picker, then the Longboy was specially made for you! Because the blade is collapsible, the Longboy has a retracted length of just 145 cm. With the cover the blade can be fastened to the pole, so that this compact pole saw can be safely and easily carried, transported and stowed.
With an extended length of 360 cm, you could have a reach of up to 4.5 meters from a cherry picker. Sawing itself goes smoothly and requires little energy. You could easily prune trees all day long without getting tired because the Longboy is lightweight and easy to handle.
The strong blade of 360 mm is equipped with a row of razor-sharp teeth. This enables you to saw very rapidly through thick branches of up to 25 cm and the teeth will leave a smooth tree wound behind. The sickle at the end of the blade helps you to keep the blade in the sawing cut. You can also use the upper sickle to cut little twigs off the trunk or to pull little (dead) branches from the tree.
As the aluminium pole is oval-shaped, you have very precise control over the direction of the blade, something you will need when pruning at a great height. Moreover, this shape gives more strength and rigidity over the full length of the pole saw, and reduces bending to a minimum.
The two locking mechanisms (pushbuttons and levers) together create the safest and most stable locking of the preferred pole length. The lowest pole part is covered with rubber for a comfortable and safe grip. The bumper at the bottom protects the pole from bumps or thrusts. The yellow design makes the Longboy highly visible.
Always think of your safety: make sure you stand at a safe distance from falling branches and wear a safety helmet and eye protection.
Optionally available is a HookFox to mount underneath the blade. With this hook, you easily pull down sawn-off branches that get stuck in the tree. Also handy to get your climbing rope up high in the tree.

The Longboy comes with a tailor-made plastic cover that protects the blade and fastens the blade to the pole.
An adjustable cord is attached to the pole with which you can secure the pole saw in your hand.

The blade must be kept clean to maintain its efficiency. The resin dissolves in olive oil, which is an effective and environmentally friendly way to maintain the blade with.
When not using the saw, make sure it is fully dry before retracting the poles. Slide the cover over the blade and store the pole saw in a dry place.
Do not forget to frequently check whether the screws on the blade are still properly tightened.
