Description
The established and light Arborist cut protection trousers have gained further advantages thanks to a comprehensive reworking by Pfanner: The new SlimFit variant of the Arborist trousers is even lighter than its previous model. It is designed to fit the body better, which helps with movement through branches in the tree, and is even more breathable thanks to a continuous ventilation system at the front. It has long ventilation zippers for maximum temperature regulation, as well as extra-large phone pockets.
Like the previous Arborist trousers, the SlimFit variant is also expandable with zip flaps and Gladiator suspenders and is available in short, regular and long lengths. The new cut and redesigned construction mean even more freedom of movement for you while weighing less. This makes them the perfect cut protection trousers for working in the tree.

Pfanner Trousers
During use of the chainsaw protection pants, sweat and oil regularly penetrate the layer of the chainsaw protection. This dirt agglutinates the fibres that ensure the chainsaw protection and thus reduces the protective effect. To maintain the performance of the chainsaw protection, it is necessary to wash the pants properly regularly. For daily use and average pollution, weekly cleaning cycles are recommended. If heavily soiled, wash immediately after wearing.
Preparation
In case of extreme contamination, apply the detergency boosters, optimally mixed 1:1 with water, directly on the stain using a spray bottle. If possible, allow it to react overnight in water. Then, remove the stain with a hand brush and wash the clothes as usual.
Machine wash
To ensure that the oil is removed from the washing machine, it is important to use liquid colour detergent and not a heavy-duty detergent. Dose the colour detergent as usual. For 1 kg of dry laundry (chainsaw protection pants of 1.6 kg), add 10 ml detergency boosters in the detergent compartment for prewash.
Attention
Start prewash at 40° C and switch off the spin cycle! The chainsaw protection pants must not be put through spin cycles. The spin cycle of a washing machine acts on the chainsaw protection of the pants like a milling action and compresses the fibres, significantly impairing the chainsaw protection.
After washing, pull the pants into form and hang them to dry. Under no circumstances should chainsaw protection pants be put in the dryer. Like the spin cycle, this has a negative effect on the chainsaw protection.
Storage and Transport
Chainsaw protection pants should be kept in a well-ventilated and dry room. Extreme temperatures and contact with fluids or UV radiation (e.g. showcases) should be avoided.
