Before ordering your ladder, be sure to consider the scope of your typical jobs and available space to ensure you order the correct size.
Note that, when we refer to the size of the ladder, we are referring to the total length when fully retracted, from top to bottom – as an example, 10ft is the full height of the 10ft ladder. They do not collapse down in height.
We always recommend that you work between shoulder and waist height. On the Fully Adjustable PRO Tripod, the platform is 3ft/0.9m from the top of the ladder, so your waist is in line with the top. As an example, if the ladder is 6ft/1.8m, then your waist will be 6ft/1.8m from the ground.
Generally, your shoulders are approximately 2ft/60cm higher than your waist. This means that you’ll have a working height range of 6-8ft/1.8-2.4m, shoulder to waist level. If you need to reach 6-8ft/1.8-2.4m, then a 6ft/1.8m ladder is just what you need.
