Description
The EGO BCX3800 is the tough answer to rough ground, and is perfectly balanced for comfortable use. Light yet strong, the carbon fibre drive shaft won’t bend or lose shape over time, keeping vibration levels to a minimum. The tool is versatile, and can be used with either the line trimmer or brush cutter head included, as well as the RTX2300 rotocut, which will take your capabilities to another level. When the line trimmer head is attached, the line is housed inside a manual wind bump feed head. It is supplied with 2.4mm line, but is capable of holding line up to 3mm thick to assist with cutting more stubborn areas. The three-sided steel blade (ABB1203) has a 30cm cutting width, which means you can get closer to hard-to-reach areas which are regular pain points.
The tool is fitted with a variable speed trigger which you can control to ensure you’re working efficiently and safely. When switching between the line trimmer head and the three-sided blade (or rotocut), ensure to read the manual which can be downloaded below, or found in the box when your tool arrives. It’s important to follow the instructions to ensure safe and correct installation. A hip pad (AHP1500) is also included in the box to prevent injury or unnecessary wear to your clothing whilst in use. The tool is compatible with the Ego Power+ backpack, and the Pro X harness – both of which will help to alleviate excess weight of the tool by housing the battery on your back.

We’re so confident in the performance of our tools that we offer professional users a 3-year warranty on the Pro X range and a 2-year warranty on the Professional range when tools are registered within 30 days of purchase. For domestic users, we offer a 5-year warranty on all tools and a 3-year warranty on batteries when registered within 30 days of purchase.

This guarantee does not limit the buyer’s rights arising from the contract of sale with the reseller or applicable statutory rights.
Defective product will be repaired or exchanged free of charge if it can be verified that the defects were caused by a material or manufacturing fault.
This warranty does not cover parts or consumable accessories subject to wear & tear during use.
This warranty only covers defects arising under normal usage and does not cover any malfunction, failure or defect resulting from misuse, abuse (including overloading of the product beyond capacity and excessive exposure to water or rain), accidents, neglect or lack of proper installation and improper maintenance or storage.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser at retail and may not be transferred.
This warranty does not cover the damage resulting from modification, alteration or unauthorized repair.
Claims under the warranty must be made within the warranty term. The equipment must be returned together with the original proof of purchase (stating the purchase date and product description) to the reseller from whom the equipment was originally purchased. In the event that this is not possible please use the details provided on this website to contact your authorised EGO Power+ service centre.
Faulty EGO Power+ batteries MUST NOT be shipped via any 3rd party transportation system without first contacting the retailer from which it was purchased.
Any claims other than the right to have the defect rectified as stated in this warranty are excluded. The warranty term for the equipment is not extended or renewed as a result of any rectification of the equipment being undertaken.
