The Distel Alu PLUS Classic climbing spurs are manufactured by DMM. They are forged in a way, that allows for angling the shaft anatomically correct on three levels. The 45 mm wide step-in is moved slightly forward with this model, at an ergonomic angle to the lower leg. This not only provides more stability but also more comfort. The Vibram rubber sole provides a firm grip on branches. The comfortable, padded plastic shells are height-adjustable in 1/4 inch intervals (approx. 6 mm) on the shaft. This allows them to be perfectly adapted to the user’s leg. The Velcro strapping at the top (105 mm) and the sturdy Weaver synthetic leather strapping at the bottom guarantee a firm, play-free, and comfortable fit. The PTFE coating on the gaffs protects against corrosion and ensures an easy release of the gaff from the tree.
