The Quick-Up, from Climbing Technology, boasts a number of great features that make it ideal for the professional arborist. This left or right-hand light alloy ascender handle boasts a new ergonomic rubber grip, with support for the index finger, which gives improved effectiveness when pulling during climbing, and a cam opening lever that is usable with just one hand – its patented cam opening system means only one downwards movement is necessary. The cam comes with 3 cut-outs that prevent build-up of mud and reduce the force needed to slide the ascender up the rope, while there are also two attachment holes for various possible uses.
