The Distel Alu PLUS Click climbing spikes are manufactured by DMM. They are forged in a way, that allows for angling the shaft anatomically correct on three levels. The 45 mm wide step-in is moved slightly forward with this model, at an ergonomic angle to the lower leg. This not only provides more stability but also more comfort. The Vibram rubber sole provides a firm grip on branches. The comfortable, padded plastic shells are height-adjustable in 1/4 inch intervals (approx. 6 mm) on the shaft. This allows them to be perfectly adapted to the user’s leg. The AustriAlpin Click buckles by Cobra at the top and bottom guarantee a firm, play-free and comfortable fit. They also allow the spikes to be attached to the leg quickly and easily. The PTFE coating on the gaffs protects against corrosion and ensures an easy release of the gaff from the tree.
