The Distel Alu 3 Velcro climbing spurs are particularly lightweight and durable. The straight, angular shaft is hot-forged, blasted and black anodised. It also has anti-slip ribs on the bottom of the stirrup for a firm grip. The shaft transmits the force straight from the foot via the stirrup and the gaff into the trunk. The comfortable, padded plastic shells are height-adjustable in 1/4 inch intervals (approx. 6 mm) on the shaft. This allows them to be perfectly adapted to the user’s leg. The Velcro strapping at the top (105 mm) and bottom (55 mm) guarantees a firm, play-free and comfortable fit.The PTFE coating on the gaffs protects against corrosion and ensures an easy release of the gaff from the tree.
