The Distel Alu 3 Classic climbing spurs are particularly lightweight and durable. The straight, angular shaft is hot-forged, blasted and black anodised. It also has anti-slip ribs on the bottom of the stirrup for a firm grip. The shaft transmits the force straight from the foot via the stirrup and the gaff into the trunk. The comfortable, padded plastic shells are height-adjustable in 1/4 inch intervals (approx. 6 mm) on the shaft. This allows them to be perfectly adapted to the user’s leg. The Velcro strapping at the top (105 mm) and the sturdy Weaver synthetic leather strapping at the bottom guarantee a firm, play-free and comfortable fit. The PTFE coating on the gaffs protects against corrosion and ensures an easy release of the gaff from the tree.
