The ADVANCE X-TREEm trousers have been designed specifically for forestry workers and arborists.
- Made from light and breathable AVERTIC™ pro lite cut protection material for unprecedented levels of comfort for cut protection trousers, tested in accordance with BS EN 381
- Less fatigue thanks to ProElast and perfect for professional use under extreme conditions such as on hot summer days
- Ventilation openings with zips to regulate body temperature
- Hard wearing, dirt and water-resistant materials have been used, making these trousers ideal for forestry work
- Ceramic-coated trimmings provide abrasion protection
- The inner lining is quick-drying and soft for greater comfort

Top handle chainsaws are specified for professional arborists or operators who can prove competence by way of certification from an approved educational body.
Occasions arise whereby warranty periods may be extended / shortened, due to promotional campaigns. Correspondence detailing these changes will be released before the promotion’s active date.
STIHL connected professional warranty extension
Extension of professional warranty by 1 year when purchased with selected professional petrol tools and AP System battery tools with a STIHL Smart Connector or Smart Connector 2 A. MotoMix® fuel domestic warranty extension
Extension of Domestic warranty from 2 to 3 years when purchased with 5 litres of MotoMix®. Domestic customers can now extend warranty cover of selected machines, when purchased along with 5 litres of MotoMix®. The extension must be registered at point of sale by the STIHL Approved Dealer. Spare Parts
Spare parts are covered by a 1 year warranty.
VIKING to STIHL transition
From 1 January 2019 all VIKING grounds care products were re-branded to become STIHL. Therefore for any warranty enquiries relating to the VIKING product range, please refer to the section labelled STIHL grounds care products.
Security updates
The iMOW® will receive security updates for at least 24 months after purchase.
ADVANCE ProCOM will receive security updates for at least 36 months after purchase.
STIHL Clothing
For your PPE to last, it needs regular and appropriate cleaning. Fortunately, protective clothing can be washed in the washing machine, taking into consideration the following instructions:
- Use the gentle or delicate cycle at no more than 60°C and a spin speed of 400 rpm or less.
- Do not use bleach or strong chemical cleaners.
- Do not wash chainsaw cut protection clothing inside out.
- Close Velcro and zips before putting your PPE in the washing machine.
- Wash similar colours together.
- Use colour-friendly or mild detergent, but do not use fabric softener.
- Air dry after washing.
- Iron at a low temperature to reactivate the dirt and water resistance in the outer layer.
- Store clean clothing in a dry, dark place – don’t store PPE clothing if it is dirty.
