Description
The Singing Rock Bora carabiner is constructed from a hot-forged I-beam, meaning the Bora is extremely strong but also light-weight. The large rope bearing area allows for better rope glide and reduced wear on the carabiner. The pear shape of the carabiner facilitates belaying with the Münter hitch or other belay devices, whilst the size of the opening and basket area is big enough to accommodate the clove hitch. Equipped with an angled, snag-free nose to enable smooth clipping and unclipping, the Bora is certified for both sport and industrial use.
With the innovative ‘keylock’ locking system which solves the problems associated with the traditional carabiner design. Eliminating the risk of ropes or tapes becoming entangled in the lever or carabiner shell when it is being connected or released. It also ensures that ropes and slings do not come in contact with sharp edges thanks to the cylindrical lever and shell which has no sharp edges. Each carabiner is individually marked with a unique production number for easy traceability and testing.
